badback83
Just wanted to let everyone know that Jose of Superworld Comics has passed away. I got to meet Jose for the first time earlier this year at Superworld’s office after the Little Giant show. Such a wonderful guy and his comic book knowledge was second to none. Rest easy, Jose. silverseeker, B2D327, John R and 9 others 2 2

Drummy
Terrible, terrible news -- I've spent a lot of time at Superworld, and have known Ted and the gang for almost 20 years. Jose was such a passionate comics guy...loved the books as much as he liked the customers. Prayers and condolences all around -- and rest in peace, Jose. Sweet Lou 14
I've been close friends of Ted and Lisa VanLiew for 25 years, and I've met Jose a bunch of times. A fantastic guy, a great friend to Ted & Lisa, and a true lover of comics. I'd heard something a while ago that he was having health issues, though I never knew the details. Heartbreaking to hear he's gone. aardvark88 and Larryw7
Popular Post JollyComics
I sold several books to Ted and Jose immediately bought my low grade copy of Reformed School Girl. I met him at several conventions. He was extremely nice. It's tough loss for Superworld Comics. He is irreplaceable. Popular Post alexgreece
I met Jose around 15 years ago when I was first helping my Dad at shows during summers off from college, he was a regular feature at many shows back then. I know he hadn't been on the show floor as much recently due to health issues, but whenever I did see him I made sure to say hi, and he was as personable as ever. Such a friendly, nice, knowledgeable guy, he will be sorely missed! RIP Jose and condolences to friends, family, and the Superworld gang. greggy, Steviehuv66, HouseofComics.Com and 4 others 6
