Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 CGC 9.6 This book was purchased in 1984 at the first convention appearance of Eastman & Laird and the TMNT 1s, it is signed inside cover in pen as they were at the time (noted in Grader's Notes as ""Eastman"" & ""Laird"" on interior cover) and then signed and remarked on front cover at the 40th Anniversary Turtles event run this past April by the same promoter (noted on label as "SIGNED & SKETCH BY KEVIN EASTMAN & PETER LAIRD ON 4/28/24 AT PORTSMOUTH MINI-CON 40").  Peter Laird rarely does convention appearances anymore, and has limited access when he shows up. Awesome 40 year bookend signatures on this historic book! $44,995

First part of Kevin Eastman signature is not lighter, it's all a strong silver color

Included is a copy of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 40th Anniversary Edition that was produced using the original film negatives for the first and second printings of TMNT #1.

"Produced at a small offset printing plant in Maine with a printing press similar to one used to make the original.
Using the original negatives, printing plates were made and the interiors were run, compiled and cut.
They were then shipped to another plant where the covers were attached.
Some of the people working through the processes were working at the original plant that printed TMNT #1 that released in 1984."

This edition was printed on the same style of newsprint paper as that original edition and reproduced at it’s unique size."
