Any ideas what this will end up at? This is the first graded one I have seen, and easily the nicest one I have seen(even taking into consideration the off-center cover)

This issue seems(to me at least) to be nearly impossible to find in really nice shape. I would peg the reserve on this one probably around $150-175.

Yuck, its translucent! Oh my god, the spine rolls over! How did this get a 9.4?

Let's start the Jungle Action #5 bashing thread!

Where's my coffee damn it!

Have a great day!

Although, JA 19 and 21 have KKK covers, the story arc is through 19-21 and 20 has this awesome two page panel of T'Challa going buckwild at a Klan meeting...

Nope, ask FF about this, he was very informative. I believe it's a result of the oils in the inks breaking down over time. You would get the same translucent effect by putting a greasy cookie or something on a clean peice of paper. It has nothing to do with whether or not the cover is white, other than the fact that it's more noticeable on a white cover.

translucency is a major flaw on books with a lot of deep colors on the first page..or really light colors on the cover...such as IF 14..I don't have any examples..but in some cases that cover shows so much of the first page you can read the text on the first page.
