The top book (a little larger) appears to be a premium book. I have it but don’t remember exactly who gave it away. Probably in the Overstreet guide.

These are lower print runs and scarcer than regular BLBs.

Unfortunately the top book does not appear to be a premium book giveaway as there is no advertisement on the back cover. Although this book is in poor condition and missing its spline with the Whitman number, I believe it is 717B.

I always found it strange how little interest there was in big little books, I used to quite like them.

That said once you have got the ones you want, I tended to never even look at them again, maybe because the interiors were just so dull?  Like a lot of stuff pre-hero, just because its rare doesn't mean its valuable or even hold any interest for anyone.
