Don't ask how I got that figure (it's geeky on about 40 levels... although I will say i didn't add them all up by hand) but it's accurate as of about an hour ago.

hey mudbuddha - how about an update of the totals? there was a recent surge of bidding which pushed most books up near their estimates. isn't that amazing?

on the cage books? I saw the "heritage reserve meeting frenzy" on other books I was tracking, but I saw none of that sort of movement on the cage books I'm tracking...

hey mud: you are right. nic's books have moved, but not dramatically. on the other auction, showcase 4 and xmen 1 have made nice moves though.

I've been watching two of the Superboy's they have and suddenly they both went up over $1,000, which is about twice what I had put on them as maximums. Where is this money coming from?

that's probably not "money." A lot of those bids are just designed to move the lots to right under the reserve.
