I have a ton of high grade books that I am clearing out. You got to see the Star Spangled War Stories, Nick Fury, Sub-Mariner, X-Men, Swamp Thing and others on eBay. It seems like people really enjoy the way that Rocketeer is selling his books here and giving members a 1st shot.

Well I have a lot more books and thought about trying to give members here 1st shot the Rocketeer way (I would not start this till he is done.). What do you think. Should I give it atry or just go to eBay.

One other thing. You may want to feel out what kind of books you have, and who on the boards collect them. We have all kinds of collectors here...even the Modern stuff. Which reminds me...I have boxes of Ultimate titles I need to dump crazy.gif

 

Also, the more established you are here, and more transactions you do, the easier it will be to sell your stuff. I've bought from Rocket before, and I feel good about his grading....and Nikos, and october, and a host of others. That's what makes it easy, but it takes a little time.

No reason not to do them this way, as long as you set prices you can live with...after all, whatever doesn't sell here you can shlep over to ebay. And quite simply, these forum auctions are a helluva lot of fun. Once I find time to finish the scanning, hoping to offer up some intriguing books here myself in the next few months. 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

Also, i will buy stuff that I normally wouldnt even think about because it is a fellow board member doing it. Hence my recent DC buys are simply because they looked good but mostly because of the peeps here selling them.
