Is 10% off guide for a 1945 Detective comics (103) in cgc 7.0 OW in line with FMV? At some point these start going for a premium over guide, but I don't know if that point is 7.0 or 8.0, etc. I read somewhere here 7.0 or above, but brain is fuzzy.....

I, personally, wouldn't pay over guide for a #103. Nothing special about the cover, and the guide price is fair. If it had white pages, maybe. If it were a Joker cover, maybe.

in what condition are you getting those discounts?

 

i accepted the best offer of a little bit more than 10% off guide after i went through my files and saw what i paid for the book a couple of years ago. I'm still ahead.

 

i've actually sold several batmans of that era over the last few months for right around guide but some had more interesting covers.

4.0 to 7.0. I picked up a 96 in 6.5 for about 20% off guide.
