Durden08
Some of those Whiz covers are really nice and are underrated. I especially like the artwork on #18 with the train. Which issues were the hardest to find in your run? 500 POSTS

CentaurMan
Some of those Whiz covers are really nice and are underrated. I especially like the artwork on #18 with the train. Which issues were the hardest to find in your run? First, keep in mind that none of these issues are impossible to find. Having spent a lot of time trying to track down truly rare issues, these aren't them. That said, I think the scarcer issues are 3, 4, 5, 13, 15, and 18. I had fun putting this group together, and think that early Whiz Comics are underappreciated. It's the Fawcett equivalent of Action Comics, but vastly cheaper. Point Five
Great collection, CentaurMan! There are some terrific covers in there...underrated, as you say, and quite similar in theme & handling to some of the classic early Actions. Very nice! skybolt
damn, Skybolt, I had no idea your collection was this deep. Color me impressed. Thanks mattbird, I really tried to put together a nice run of Batman's, Sensation's, Superman's, etc. a few years ago, but became quickly frustrated when I was beaten out on about 90% of the auctions. Good Girl Art in general is a much easier task to put a nice run together than let's say Action war covers, due to less competition (especially outside Ebay). I've still kept these suprehero GA comics (as well as my key SA and BA books), since I like having a diversified collection. I actually try and keep the number of slabbed books from each title below 10. I guess I'm more of an anti-completist if anything.
