Golden Age group shot

Mini group shot of my newly assembled set of Super-American covers. Nice interior art and origin story of a US solider from the year 2350 brought back thru time to fight the dictators of WW2. Really wish the character had lasted longer than four issues.

Thanks guys! It was a lot of fun setting that up. I'm glad you liked it.

I wish I could have mixed in my cgc'd books as well for an even better shot.

Before I bagged em up I took a pic of the stack. I posted it once before, but here it is again.

I imagine much more impressive piles were tied up and donated to the paper drives during the war.

I lived in a paper mill town.

The warehouses that stored the paper were as big as a football field and there were several.

We were arrested once for taking remainder comics from the conveyer belt one Sunday afternoon.

Here are some of the rescued remainders. Unfortunately they are all silver age.

Most of the books were published in the fall of 1964.
