lighthouse
No offense taken.. I thought it was flaky at the time I saw it... It wouldn't surprise me if there were some books (1/10 of 1%) that old in the warehouse stock, and it also wouldn't surprise me if Chuck "padded" the collection with some stock he already had... Just reporting what I saw... which is frankly no stranger than any of the rest of the "MH2" story...
Bonds25
I used to have a MH2 copy of Spider-Man #129, and it was stunning. Would have graded a 9.6 at least. I sold it for some silver bars.
Rival61-migration
Actually, I have 2 Captain Marvels, #6 is a 9.0, and #20 is a 7.0. #20 is annotated as having a small stain on every page, but the cover itself is flawless. I scanned the certs, but cant figure out how to make them display...!

Aman619
If this thread really gets going, we're gonna be here for awhile! I thought its pretty well accepted that every late bronze early modern book was in the warehouse?? And that Chuck pulled at least one of the best of each... murph0
Not looking for every single book, more or less a sampling of all the titles involved and the grade range. I find it interesting that some ASMs are real high grade and some aren't. Brian
Aman619
oh...thats a good idea. I have a few copies I bought in the last few years (Bronze DCs)...they were really nice, but they are not graded. Should I try to dig them out, or do you really just want CGC grdaes?
murph0
Plz dig them out, only half of the books on the list are CGC'd anyways. So far I only have ONE DC listed soo.... Brian
lighthouse
Actually the list will only get to 7500 or so... Chuck mentions in his TFTD that when he pulled two of each book for Noah's Ark, it came to right at 15,000 books... Which also says that the AVERAGE book in the purchase had 233 copies... Tomega
I personally own 50+ MH2. I never kept to much track of them but definitely can account for : X-men 69, 74,75,78,85,86,87,89,91, 113 all in near mint to nm+ - very nice Cap 121, 122, 123 vf/nm I am sure that I have 20+ issues of FF and Amazing Spiderman over issues 120. The ASM's were not that impressive, most in vf. The FF were all vf/nm but nothing striking.
Bonds25
I just remembered I also had a MH2 copy of Peter Parker, Spect Spidy #27 in CGC 9.6.

I thought its pretty well accepted that every late bronze early modern book was in the warehouse?? And that Chuck pulled at least one of the best of each... It might be more useful to just list the MH2 Silver Age books since there were a lot less of those in the lot.

lighthouse
Just a follow-up to my earlier post about the Hulks... I emailed Chuck about it, to see what he might have to say: "Thank you very much for getting in contact with me. I find this entire situation very strange, as there were not very many pre-1965 comics in the MH II deal, and almost no comics prior to 1964. I do not remember even a single issue of the first Hulk series, much less one in high enough grade to justify a certificate. You would think that such a noteworthy book would stick out in my mind... If you see the issue again, I highly recommend that you closely examine the certificate to see if it is embossed with a Mile High Comics corporate seal. To prevent forgeries, we actually hand-pressed each certificate, causing the seal to be raised above the normal level of the paper. All the best! Chuck" I think I'll shoot an email to Richard Evans and see if he remembers the book... because now the whole thing is going to bug me... I'd lose my head if it wasn't bolted down, but I never forget the key books from collections I look at... Not going to have an impact on this thread either way... but I'll do anything to avoid my yard work today... 'House
