ink stains for sure, but I"m pretty sure they're production smudges or overspray or whatever. You' ll notice that they're mostly black as are her buttons with some red.

You want to know what I think? I think she has small pox.

 

I don't know what to grade it for sure unless the nature of the ink stain is completely known. Does it seep through the cover? Looks to be in 7.5-8.5 range for sure. But I think this is one of those books that can only be graded in person as you have to hold the book at various angles to tell what damage is caused from the ink.
