Speaking on the basis of being the son of someone who owns a mortgage and loan company..there's no way we'd loan you the money without either having a job where the loan payment would not come to more then 15 percent of your monthly income..a very high beacon score (something in the 700's) as well as equity in something such as a stock portfolio or house. I haven't been around to see the interest rate lately, but the last numbers I saw were 6 3/4 and that was in August.
