I got this as part of two eBay auctions for very early, very low grade Iron Man comics. I was actually surprised at the condition of this first issue. The auction made it sound like the cover was entirely detached. Both staples are solid, but the spine is split below the lower staple. Additionally, there is a tear across Iron Man's right boot, about an inch and a half long. All the other defects on the cover are creases, not tears. As for the back, it has a nasty rip and tear to the left of "GET PRIZES" and, of course, the missing upper left corner.
