Well, looks like the both of you was correct here since the book finished at only $57,111 as compared to $64,111 on the last go round at CC:

With the CL consignment fee, I guess it amounts to a loss of over $12K on this book here and I personally believe this loss might have a lot to do with the money being redirected towards the Promise Collection books that's sitting on deck right now waiting for their turn at the bat.

i think the #7 was the 3rd book i grabbed when i started on the fox-thru-7/40 run, and have never been able to upgrade it.

Hi need to get “Fox” back on Page 1 . The Windy City Blue Beetle 1 another sharp looking copy bought it soon after Gary started Marketing the collection . I bought most of the fox books out of the collection but he had already sold the Science 1 and the Weird 1 thank you to Jim Payette and Metropolis who helped me track those two down as well .

Since so much of our attention here has been so focused (and deservedly so may I add) on the Promise Collection of book in this round of the Heritage auction here, we should not forget that there are are also some non-Promise Fox pedigree books also available for all of us Fox aficionandos here.   Especially in the case of their headline grabbing Mystery Men run with 6 different pedigree issues available, including these two gorgeous former Berk Church beauties ranging from top to bottom for now:

It’s not the most beautiful, but when there are all of two on the CGC Census, one can’t be too picky. Very happy to add this book to the wwii cover collection.

There was one that came to auction on CC just before the Berk auction and i passed because I was saving for the Berk books. Was about a 5.0 I belive hammered just a little above 3k if I recall correctly
