PGM Detective 187

Just got five Two-Face comics today. It was graded as G+ (2.5). Let me know what you think of this one. It's the rarest GA Detective.

Both staples popped or just the top one?

Looks like both staples to me from the scans

 

If 1 staple 2.0 would sound ok

 

If both then Fair grade from me

The top staple is popped and the bottom one is hanging on for dear life. The whole book is pretty loosely held together.

With the one staple pull, 2.5 sounds about right IMO...

Actually, I found three using The GA Dealer List. One had tape (ugh!), one was sold at a con while I was deliberating (), and this one.

Close enough. Could be a G 2.0 but if it is as rare as you say it shouldn't matter.

Agree with the gents above...judgement call between 2.0/2.5. I could be wrong, but even if the bottom staple does detach I think it would still squeak by as 2.0. Neat cover!

The cover has nice eye appeal. Congratulations on your purchase. I would give it a solid 2.0 Don't be suprised, if you get a 2.5 from CGC.
