Here's a new one I just got, to fill a hole in my SA Romita run. Been wanting this one for a good minute. Only had cash for a 6.5 though, after spending on all the other great books I've bought lately. Sadly, this one will be the last one I'll buy for awhile (gotta save up for groceries and gas now, due to the economy. Ugh!).

I highly doubt this considering that Steve Ditko had way more plot/story input in this three issue run than any previous collaboration with Stan.  I've always believed this arc is what triggered Steve's decision to leave 5 issues later.  Nevertheless, ASM 33 is definitely one of the top 5 Spidey issues (and covers) of all time.

Hey fellow boardies...my 44th wedding anniversary today. :whatthe: :insane: Over the years my wife couldn't quite understand the whole comic-collecting thing...now she's pretty happy I stuck with it... lol :headbang:

Am I the only one that is bothered that this thread is titled "Amazing Spiderman Collecting Thread!" instead of the correct spelling "Amazing Spider-Man Collecting Thread!"? Least we can do is get Spider-Man's name right in a thread about collecting Spider-Man.

Been a while since I posted, but got my hands on ASM #6, at a 2.0. Three staples were added after manufacturing but it still presents really well, and it’s the first book in the single digits that I’ve been able to get! Truly happy and thankful to have gotten it, and it’s one of many treasures in my collection! Happy collecting everyone!
