Even better, he's called "Superman" in issue #3 I think. Not sure they were to tight on editing back then.

I looked for it in a reprint but they had fixed it. It has "Spider-man" now in my old Essential volume.

You can't make this stuff up. That was an error but odd stuff in books is just fascinating and timrless.  Google why Al Milgrom was let go at Marvel, that's a good one. And I'm a huge fan of his, even have a commission of his on my wall.

I actually just recently “upgraded” my 5.0 WP copy in terms of eye appeal.  My old copy was nice but my new copy has a much better wrap, brighter colors and less edge wear making for an overall cleaner front cover.  One of my fav books that I’m fortunate to own
