That's one of the handful of 1960s issues that was clearly present in one or more warehouse finds of undestroyed, uncirculated copies.  The others I recall in the 1 to 75 range are #46, #48, #58, and #59.

Always strange when some Silver Marvel issues are far more available than others, and #44 is the earliest in the title that's significantly more available than most others.  I always wonder which is more available between #44 and #48.  Going by the Census there are over twice as many copies of #48 in high grade, but #44 wouldn't be submitted nearly as much since it's not a key so I'm sure there are quite a few unslabbed high grade copies of it out there.
