By "appearance" I didn't mean adding to or part of a storyline in continuity, I meant the "other" meaning of "appearance" ... to be depicted pictorially in the publication, which are clearly two very different, completely separate things.

My FF 9 is just a lower/mid grade copy, but it's from a collection that circulated in town back in the mid 90s, of which I was able to acquire about a half dozen copies of. The original owner's name appears to be Ramon Hull or perhaps it's Hall, tough to be sure. If you have any comics with this name on them, I'm an interested buyer.

I once owned this copy, bought directly from board member Burntboy/Harry Banks, who in turn bought it off the rack at Sid's Luncheonette in East Orange, New Jersey when it was brand new.  For newcomers to the Silver Age forum who want to know more about Harry's original collection ranging from 1956 - '64, here's a link that tells his story:

Harry's copy is a bright and sharp example of the issue, like just about all of his childhood collection.  I believe his copy of FF #11 was the first or second one to be graded 9.4 by CGC back in the day.  Only a small chip missing along the right edge near the bottom kept his FF #9 from a much higher grade.

I know. I was just mocking those who get all foot-stompy and "aktchually...!" whenever a preview or an advertisement is referred to as an appearance.
