drewincanada
Want to get back to some fun purchases will look to build a decent run of high grade raw books. Where are you picking up HG raw books like that?? Wish I had a source for HG raw. Perhaps I just don't get out enough.
Silver Surfer
Picked these up from Blazing Bob, one of the best in the business. [/img] [/img] [/img]
jimjum12
Man does that 56 bring back memories. That's the first Avengers that I ever bought off the stands. That # 9 is a real nice copy....it wouldn't happen to be one of Blazing Bob's world famous 8.5's would it ? GOD BLESS... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) (thumbs u p.s. He's got a nice Avengers 3 in 8.0 on his site...looks to be a very recent pickup
Silver Surfer
Jimbo I saw that #3, looks good but the stain bothers me a bit. Really would like a nice #2-#4 a 7 and a #8 but all in due time. (thumbs u
Guardian Comics
Wow, you'd think I collected Avengers or something, but this arrived on my doorstep today. It's funny, I was in the middle of writing the Ohio chapter of the pedigree book and I took a break to do a CL search and this popped up. I knew I had to have it and that it was karma Jim

I knew I had to have it and that it was karma Jim I wondered who pulled the trigger on that one. Beeee-ooo-tee-ful, and reasonably priced, relatively speaking. WAY out of my league, though! I can only dream and drool.
namisgr
I remember seeing this copy of Avengers #4 at a Philly comic con back in the early nineties. Even among an array of 4-5 copies of this ish, the Ohio copy stood out for its amazing white cover. It's a beautiful book.
Guardian Comics
Thanks Bob...I am very happy with it. The WM is a 9.2 as well but one of the 4 graded White Mountains with C-OW page quality but I would be willing to downgrade Jim

thehumantorch
Nice. I love pre Break-Up Avengers. I always loved the Avengers because the lineup changed so often. Or Antman changed his name and powers.

Yeah, the characters were allowed to grow and develop unlike the FF who have virtually stagnated.
thehumantorch
Hey now, lets not get crazy. No reason for the FF to change . Pretty good creation from the get go. Invisible girl certainly changed powers.
drewincanada
Here's my most recent addition. It's an upgrade from a slightly lower grade copy. The cover alignment with the spine isn't great, but at least it's straight! And I like the white pages. Sorry the bottom is cut off. It isn't my scan.
