mschmidt
So I guess everyone was focused on the clink books and didn't see these ones? Daredevil 25 Cgc 9.6 White Pgs Rocky Mountain Daredevil 28 Cgc 9.6 White Pgs Rocky Mountain
rob_react
Those two are scorchers. I was tempted by the 25, for sure. At this point I'm trying to keep the upgrades (i have a 9.4, non-pedigree) to a minimum, so I held out. I figure I should be spending my money on the handful of books I need for my run. On that front... I just managed to get a 65/69 from Greg Reece (graded by they who shall not be named, so no scans just yet)
Icculus308win
I have noticed the past year year or so, #69 has definitely moved up in the "harder to find/obtain" DD books in 9.4 or above. I surmise with the advent of the Black Panther gracing the Silver Screen had a little something to do with that. So congrats on your two books Rob, especially the #69. Can't wait to see your copy. vaillant
To get down to earth from that FF#52 9.6 White here’s my current Daredevil #4 – waited for a long time to pick this which is one of my favorite issues (I love Killgrave) and as usual had to rush up at the wrong time. If all goes well, I will get a nice midgrade upgrade later on…
vaillant
Also, picked up this one as well recently. And two of my favorite Daredevil villans are "settled" for now.
vaillant
Out of curiosity, the italian #4 which features also the first publication in comic book format of Fantastic Four #1…
Finhead
My latest additions, my #7 should be here in a week or so.
rob_react
Nice copies all around. I love seeing these early books, I groaned when they announced the purple man for the Alias TV show. The 4 and the 5 are next for me in the top ten and now I might have to pay some sort of silly premium for the #4. Sigh. I'll do it just because I don't want to be working on this run for the rest of my life, but it's still annoying.
HarveySwick
I agree. #4 is one of my favorite covers and I wanted to grab one soon. Damn TV speculation.
Icculus308win
I would think that, Movie speculation for DD again would be worse......so you guys got that going for you at least.
Icculus308win
I am praying to the Disney/Marvel gods that the TV show does spark enough public interest to warrant a reboot of DD on the BIG screen. (So think positive thoughts with me and get your #4s before it happens )

vaillant
Great ones, Finhead! It seems we all had/have to forcedly choose the wrong time to pick up a #4. As you know, I just collect selected issues of Daredevil, but #4 has always been a favorite: I believe it was among the first italian books I saw as a kid among the early ones, and when I read the Killgrave story it immediately won me… I am praying to the Disney/Marvel gods that the TV show does spark enough public interest to warrant a reboot of DD on the BIG screen. (So think positive thoughts with me and get your #4s before it happens ) I don’t think they’ll ever use Killgrave if they do a new DD movie. Very likely they’ll focus on the Miller or post-Miller period or use Bullseye. The Gladiator maybe, but not Killgrave or Jester, so to speak. I am going to upgrade my #4 thanks to KirbyJack…
vaillant
Besides, the Joe Orlando art on the Killgrave story is just wonderful… I met Joe Orlando in the early 1990s when he came to Lucca, but at the time I did not recall the early DD issues were drawn by him. Icculus308win
I would think "Miller Time" would be the immediate choice. They might just spin it, do the opposite and go for a wider (younger?) audience and not use his edge. Having it more lighthearted for lack of better words. (It just pray, that when if does happen - it will be a dammn good movie) One thing is for sure imho, Gladiator would be FRICKEN AWESOME!!!
