rob_react
I'm definitely not getting seller's remorse. I'm psyched about the White Mountain copy and this 9.8 has already paid for that with the whole auction still to go. There are a lot of really nice Daredevils in that CL auction. Icculus308win
Awesome to hear the book has already paid for itself and you got a stellar nm+ one in your collection.
MintyMint
This from Sunday night's Heritage auction. I just couldn't resist!
rob_react
Wow. that's basically a perfect copy. You couldn't square that book off any better with a razor blade.
romanheart
That's a nice one. If I didn't have a nice copy of that one I would have been tempted to try... but ComicLink ends in 2 wks

FoomMember
My DD #7. I seriously thought it would get a 9.4, but I'm happy with it. Compares well with 9.4s I've seen.

entalmighty1
That's a beautiful book. What are the thoughts on having color touch removed on a book like that? Do the graders notes on color touch tell you where exactly the restoration is on the book? I'm sure on a big key like that, even if it bumped the book down a grade or two, the value increase would be worth it, yes?
FoomMember
Thanks guys! No plans to have the slight resto removed, but I'll bet that the grader's notes would indicate where the touches are.
rob_react
(anyone get anything cool?) I bid on the Daredevil #1 9.4 that went off at ComicConnect, but not too aggressively as it wasn't the best 9.4 to my eyes. It was a great book I would have been happy to own, but... there was a little spine tick that I think would have driven me crazy eventually. Otherwise, I think I've bought some DDs in the 200s. That's about it... Edited December 14, 2015 by rob_react
romanheart
I splurged and bought the DD Annual 1 from WW. I haven't seen any DDs worth tracking on auction. I wanted your #69 but wasn't going to break the bank on it. Edited December 14, 2015 by romanheart
rob_react
What's the grade on the Annual #1? I want to know who got the #
romanheart
What's the grade on the Annual #1? I want to know who got the #69 cgc 9.6, white pager. I don't have the book or a pic yet. I don't know if a board member won it. I saw that it had bid up to $720 in days and sold more or less around that value. It didn't look like there was much back and forth. I am guessing the person who won it put such a high bid down that scared all potential bidders with an immediate outbid.
rob_react
Ooooh, 9.6? Nice copy. I'm sure it'll be a beaut. That's a great book.
romanheart
I hope it's nice in person. I still have so many to close out the entire run. Doesn't look like it will happen this year.
