Guys, This may not be the initial CHOICE of the seller, to be selecting such an image size that is so extreme. He may be filing or FTPing his images from directly off the scanner instead of reducing the height and width on his accompanying scanner software. If so, this would be the result. More like a topographical map of the cover, rather than an image that would give the buyer a better visual aspect on the book's overall appearance (something between 100% and 150% of 1:1 scale size).

He's probably a newbie. When I first started scanning, I also ended up listing an auction with a HUGE scan and super detailed resolution. I think it took about 5 minutes to upload.
