for the first time in my life, I think I agree with ending the funding on this plane. Still hurts to type that, but I think I beleive it.

If you ever go to Las Vegas, go out to the race track, sit in the parking lot and watch the jets take off, all day long and into the night. I think it is Nellis AFB. They run out to the desert to practice air to air combat etc....

 

The take off and landing pattern runs right over the race track.

 

I have seen all types of planes out there including a B1-B taking off, at dusk with after burners.....sweet.

The AF wanted about 220 F22's but only 187 will be built. It wont be enough for the AF to maintain air superiority in 2 theaters.

 

Hopefully the fools in DC wont kill the F35.
