Speaking of great covers - saw it sell and you got a really great buy - very nice book hard to find in that grade.

All kidding aside, I'm still missing about a dozen rando issues between 152 and 200. Still working on it. I'll finish ones earlier than 109 as well, but they 'spensive!

Coincidentally, my want list for Flash includes issues #105-151, so I'm stopping there...

I originally wanted to go up to #160 but decided to pull back a bit, and loved the cover of #151 too much to stop at #150...

Saw a Facebook post that I found interesting.  Collectors had focused on a 1-20 run of FF, signed by Stan Lee.  Then, they focused on the highest graded copy of each.  Years of searching and all that goes with that, until the goal was reached.  The post says that they are going up for auction soon on Connect or Clink.

Thank you the 139 has been on my list for years but I never got round to picking up a copy until I found this one it came a collection where the  owner had been buying the title as it was coming out

Ok Flash fans, over Christmas I had the good fortune of getting a duplicate gift. After some discussions with a CGC moderator, I am creating a contest/raffle here on the Silver Age Flash collector's thread to give away this cool Flash item. It is the DC house advertisement for Flash #105 from 1958. It is a custom-made print on canvas wrapped on a frame. It's 17" x 12". It looks really sharp overall, but because of the limitations of the source image, up close, you can start to pick out some pixelation, an effect that is made a little more apparent by the texture of the canvas. The only cost to you will be the shipping/packaging cost. I'll be shipping from within the USA, so I estimate shipping costs to most US locations using USPS Priority Mail to be around $20-$30 dollars. International shipping is pricier, and I will only use Priority Mail Express International for this transaction and to give you an idea of the costs, estimated shipping to UK is around $88 USD and to Australia is around $95 USD, so please consider this before entering the contest/raffle (actual shipping costs will be determined once actual destination is known). For international transactions, I am only set up to receive payments through PayPal and for domestic transactions, you can use PayPal or send me a certified check or money order. I will exchange necessary information with the winner through private messaging here on the boards. 

Now for the fun part. To give everyone interested a fair chance, just pick a number between 1 and 1,000. The person who selects the number exactly or gets the closest without going over, will win the canvas print, (for example, if the winning number is 500 and we have an entry of 495 and 502, the person who selected 495 will be the winner). Post your selection here on the "Flash collectors thread". You only get to select one number and once selected, you cannot change it. You cannot pick a number someone else has already selected. I will try to keep a running list of entries posted as time permits. If by chance, someone picks the number exactly, I will close the raffle at that time before the end date as there is no need to continue at that point. The winning number has been pre-selected and is known only to me, a moderator and one other Flash boardie (of course, we are excluded from participating). The contest/raffle runs from now and will close on Sunday, Jan. 30 at 11pm Eastern time. Good luck!
