The misprinted copies are more scarce. The dust jacket is heavy stock paper and very nicely done. The second scan is the regular Spanish HC and the last scan is the Spanish HC with the misprint on cover. Thank you for showing these. Never knew about the Spanish editions and dust jacket before. Now that we established that is the rarest Warren published book, what would Harris equivalent be? Would the Morning in America Diamond TPB be it? I'm not sure how many are printed but this book was only given to a few select stores back in the days. The GCD is entirely limited to whatever people add, I've had more than a few books where I discover something is missing and am amazed that nobody had bothered to post it sooner. I've never seen a dust jacket on a copy before. It is in fact speculated that the print run for the hardcover was set at 500 pieces. When these were delivered to Warren, they were dismayed to find that a large percentage ended up being unsalable. The ink used was very tacky, and the books were stuck together. You will notice on many of the copies that they did ship have small color pulls at various spots, most often in the logo. I’ve never heard an accurate number on how many copies they salvaged, but rumor had been about half. These were shipped in a cardboard mailer via direct order. They did not have a dust jacket, and yes, that’s something fan made shown earlier. I posted pictures of my box and copy earlier in this thread (pages 32-33).
