JJBEE2001
OK, I already posted these, but here they are again post-CGC: Bought as a VG- (with no mention of resto) Bought as a VG/F (thumbs u This my new favorite book Bought as a VG- Due to their rarity, I'm just glad to have any copy. In defense of the seller, they told me to send the restored book back for them to examine & they would buy it back or give me a credit for the difference. swapto
congrats!!! i love the adventures i talked to vince at metro and he specifically told me via email that the 35 was unrestored. metro seem to be way off on their grading of late. anyone else notice? B. Theagenes
All great covers, especially the 38! Is there a hidden defect on the 39? That is a nice looking 2.0. Also, what is the resto on the 35, just out of curiosity? Jeff

Scrooge
Is there a hidden defect on the 39? That is a nice looking 2.0. Yeah!? If only all my Good books looked that nice. Also, what is the resto on the 35, just out of curiosity? Jeff #39: The label actually says "cover detached". Before I sent it in, I saw that the spine was loose, but it wasn't completely detached. I guess I should be happy they didn't give it a Qualified grade. #35: The resto notes are "spine splits sealed". I didn't notice them, so I think there's a couple small ones, as opposed to one big seal. Again, I'm totally happy with all three books. Even if resto was disclosed on #35, I'd still have bought it. (I can't remember seeing another copy for sale.) It's all good! (thumbs u
