Marvel Value Stamp??? Question

I have a copy of Hulk 181 this is in OK shap, but it is missing the Marvel Value Stamp What effect does this have on the book? Say it is a cgc 8.0. What would be the price complete and what would be the price with this missing? Also, what label whould it get?

I can't tell you about prices, but it would get a Qualified grade. Ask Scottish

I've seen solid Hulk 181's with the MVS missing go for at about Fine.

Hey J,

 

I have a Hulk 181 with the MVS missing. 9.2 grade Qualified (incomplete). As to value - I don't think you'll realize much at all...I've been watching MVS missing auctions recently and though they do get bids, there incredibly low (as is expected). Your best bet is to just hold on to the book for now. I've come to grips with mine and probably won't sell it anytime soon.

Yea that is what I thought. It is not a bad copy, and the only 181 that I have. So I guess fo rnow it will have to do. Thanks again guys.
