Pat Calhoun
that one is titled 'The Spider'. there is a superb netsuke (by Masatoshi circa 1850- these prints circa 1889) that shows the scene a few moments before the print (don't own it & couldn't afford it!) Ted Knight
I've always liked the landscape prints by Hokusai and Hiroshige. Yooshi is also fun to look at. I find that the nuances to these prints take a long time of viewing to fully appreciate. Right now, I only have a couple of Shin Hanga prints by Koitsu that I like very well. Nice stuff, guys! BB-Gun
I don't know who owns the art or made the scan but it is my Kirby. I enjoyed all of that scifi stuff he did.
BB-Gun
I'm thinking Kirby's birthday party with all of his comic fans would look like like this scene from Boy's Ranch.
BB-Gun
It's silver age but probably the first Kirby story I ever read and still a favorite.

adamstrange
My nephew just returned vol 2 & 3 of the latest Fantagraphic reprints. He was thrilled, asking me how soon more would come out ,and I was pleased to be able to re-read them in this new edition. (I have the complete set of the previous Fantagraphic series.) Theagenes
I just realized I'm almost at my 5000th post. I think I'll use it to start a Hal Foster tribute thread in General.
