BB-Gun
Planes of Tomorrow (published in 1944 by Merrill Publication Company) Where do you get this stuff!!!! I like to collect things. That is a nifty coloring book. I often check out the index when I see one to find out who is the artist. Schomburg did this one. I look for Ducks and Mice as well but usually find reprints from the eighties that are being sold as antiques. I found a Mickey coloring BLB I think but it was broken into separate pages. Pat Calhoun
Know, oh fans of this eldritch mag, Jeff’s put a great one into his bag: It has Conan tied to a tree As vultures circle fierce and hungry, It has Jirel’s return to the black god’s land, And Zothique, so near to earth’s dark end- A triple triumph of matchless power, Weird Tales, December 1934. sacentaur
A winning combination for sure...Margaret Brundage and Robert E. Howard. I am rapidly becoming a huge Brundage fan - is she generally considered the tops in her field amongst collectors? Another sad story - she married a hobo, and apparently lived in near poverty till her death in 1976.
Pat Calhoun
St John may be more impressive overall, but in the 'Weird Women' niche she reigns supreme!
