I am sitting around 15k to 20k with a mixture of gold, silver, bronze, copper and a small amount of modern. I would LOVE to cut it to about 3000... I'm thinking I'll probably make it to around 2k by the time I switch from collecting to working on other aspects of my hobby (upgrading, OA, etc). I can't even imagine getting up past 5k... I can't imagine dealing with 20,000. I'm hoping to cut my collecting in half in the next year or two. I came up with the 3k number becasue of how I collect. I am a completest so I have Batman 1 up which is over 700 books. I am trying to do finish the Detective run which is over 800 so that puts it to 1500 books. I keep classic cover issues so another 200 books, Spiderman, Daredevil, ... pretty soon you are at 3000 so it adds up pretty quick. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
