tth2
Wow, you guys let this thread slip to page 2 ?! That sacrilicious!! Here's one I upgraded earlier this year via Heritage (sure hope it's been restored or pressed or altered or whatever term everyone agrees on...that would make it a great conversation piece!). Rick Nice book, except for that ugly sticker on it.

tth2
Perhaps someone needs to tell the winner and underbidder that the movie is off? Far be it from me to complain about skyrocketing prices, since I own a 9.6 copy, but WTF?!
JLA_ALL_THE_WAY
Great looking #33! This is also one I bought on one of my early LCS expeditions in my mid-teens. I upgraded it a few years ago, but I don't believe it's as nice as yours. BTW, I only managed to sneak over to the Wynn late Sunday night. It was around midnight and I wanted to get a glimpse of the place. The hotel appears to be beautiful and the casino was packed around midnight. Post your #33 Shadow; if it's better than mine I'll be the first to give you your props! Midnight at Wynn This whole weekend was busy due to the Holiday/NBA break/upcoming tournament. I was there on Sunday, too bad you didn't pop in to say "dude!" Rick

OK, I admit that I am indeed "domenicbasketball" and I am not someone you wanna mess with...so stay away from any & all other HG JLAs! Shadow
Detroit Mike, that is a fine looking B&B #29! Mine's nowhere near that nice but I got it for a good price 10 years ago at Comix Oasis in Allen Park.

Some decent prices on the JLAs in the CL auction too, but not approaching this price in terms of multiples of Guide. Might be a nice flip opportunity to the winner of the JLA 27. JLA_ALL_THE_WAY
Lots of good JLA material coming up for auction.....wish I had some more money to spend....hope to pick up at least 2 books....unfortunately I don't think I'll win any 9.6's How many times is that 9.6 copy of #41 going to be shopped around? It`s a beautiful copy that I`d be all over except for the ugly ink stain at the top edge of the FC. Looks like JLA prices are still robust. The C-link auction did well; thought I was going to get that "oh so ugly" #41 for cheap...then got out-sniped at the last second. Seems there are at least 2 of us who aren't bothered by 'slight over-spray.' Guess I'll have to settle for just 1 win. This time. Rick

JLA_ALL_THE_WAY
For now, let's just say it wasn't the #16 ($1300+); I thought you might be the winner of this one, Tim, until I realized the C-OW pq. Glad Scott finally sold it...unless he sold it earlier & the new owner just now flipped it...?? Rick
JLA_ALL_THE_WAY
Yo Tim (or anybody else), Did you take a gander at the #42 9.6A? I was ready to upgrade from your 9.4D...when I noticed something along the middle of the top edge which might be black over-spray, but looks more like a cover break??? Can't be sure either way, so I didn't want to take a chance. Surprised it made it to $978 if that is actual damage. Without that whatever-it-is, I would have jacked it up another 15-20%. Thoughts? john72tex
Rick, I was going to bid on that 41 also, but when it went over $500 I passed. I have been trying to limit myself on purchases before ComiCon. I was also thinking about the 64 but I bought the Flash 107 instead as I needed an upgrade there. Rick I was following the 42, but I was also a little wary of the indentation on the top edge. I already have a JLA 37 in CGC 9.4, but that 9.6 went for much lower than I thought. If I didn't have one already, I would have bid much more than $650 Didn't win anything this time
