showcase22gr1959
Congrats John! Below are some GPA data for that grade. 2013 $435 2012 $435 $488 2011 $356 $367 $430 Twin Cities $
john72tex
I guess we can chalk up another $435 for 2013. The eBay seller was claiming this issue is "worth" $800 in this condition. I thought it was a little high and I'm glad I didn't overpay.
showcase22gr1959
Oh, I see that the 8.5 in 2013 is yours. Not a bad deal considering the nice eye appeal and OW PQ.
john72tex
Thanks! It's close to a 9.0, but a few spine ticks bring it down. I should get my raw copy slabbed and maybe sell it.

This example has incredible freshness in hand. http://www.myslabbedcomics.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=15339&GSub=

Jaylam
Some cool Justice League of America #1's there. Has anyone ever noticed that most (but not all) of the number 1 DC books from this era did not have an issue number on the cover. Anyone know why DC did this? Some number 1's that don't have a "No. 1" on the covers are of course this Justice League of America and then the Atom, Metal Men, Green Lantern, Teen Titans, Aquaman, Sea Devils and Lois Lane. Two books I found that are an exception to this and do have a "No. 1" on them are Hawkman and Metamorpho. Can anyone think of any others? Just curious about this.
