Would be interesting to know what has been happening at PSA

I think PSA has been slowly implementing AI, but not in the actual grading of cards.  For now, they have been using it as a means of "fingerprinting" cards to detect if a certain card has been graded before and just being sent back in for another attempt to get a better grade.

I think the only company currently using AI to grade cards is TAG.  However, they have restricted the cards they grade to the modern era.  From memory, I think the reason they gave for this is because older cards have more variables such as how they were cut from the factory or various other things that were harder to have a machine learn from.

Wasn't sure where to put this, but since this was the last UF4 thread that was commented on, it wins.  I am not an expert on this book, but this caught my eye while browsing on myslabs.  It looks like CGC failed to put on the label that it was the facsimile version when it was graded in March of this year.    Has this happened alot?  Quite the error, especially when you have a seller pricing much closer to a real copy than the facsimile.  Be careful out there.

You can stop payment or reverse charges on a check with a charge of fraud or non delivery (Mail Fraud is a Felony) and you can use the M.O. receipt as grounds for a civil suit for the same charges. The unacceptability of F&F only policy is that CGC doesn't wish to be liable for facilitating a fraud against a huge corporation, which F&F for goods and services would be. Me ? I stick to folks here with proven track records.... if one of them asked me to send cash, I likely would. GOD BLESS....

as he just said, you definitely have recourse with checks and MO. Asking for F&F has nothing to do with eliminating recourse for the buyer in most cases. Asking for F&F on a sale is against terms of service, so check & MO become the options.

    Thanks for the clarification.
