  1. Lets not forget CSG is under the Certified Collectables Group (CCG) umbrella, who have been in business for decades (grading currency, coins, comics, non-sports card). I understand that CSG has to stand on its own, but come on throw a bit more money at your new sister company and get them to shows. The more collectors who use CSG now will help solidify CSG as a legit grading resource before PSA and BGS go back to normal. Think BGS, PSA and CSG as the big 3 (I just don't see SGC as building much value to a collection [maybe vintage]).

  2. I agree, I do not concern myself with subgrades for vintage cards. I either use Beckett Vintage Grading (BVG) or PSA. However, with the cost of both services lately I won't be grading vintage anytime soon. Unless CSG proves to be a valid vintage card grader (only time will tell).
