    You and I see things differently. I see cleaning a book to be restoration. Funny how pressing opened the door to other manipulation that seems to just be "okay" now.

    I started going after them a long time back. I had this "I need to find a 9.6+ in the wild". I could only muster a 9.4 in the last 15 years.

    Man I hate that "somethings missing" feeling. I dont know if its OCD or ESP but when I went for a HoS 92, automatically I went for a Swamp Thing 1 in high grade. Now I have four HoS 92' s all in 9.2\9.4 And two Swamp Thing 1's in 9.4\9.6.

    I also remember a time when people said that Amazing Fantasy 15 could never go passed 5000.00 in NM , and that it would crash. Now good luck getting a .5 for that much.

    I'm so happy that your family is safe, thank God for the things you do have. Comics are just paper that can be replaced, and once you rebuild you can start all over again. Might be fun to rediscover the books you need again.

    I never thought I was a magazine collector either, now I'm consumed by it. The art and stories are far superior to their counterparts.
