BIRDS OF PREY starring Margot Robbie (2020?)
I like pie replied to Bosco685's topic in The Movie Forum
Saw it a few days ago with super low expectations. Gets a 4/10 from me, with all 4 stars going to Margot Robbie eye candy. The fighting choreography was awful. Seemed like they were under water. -
Yes. Then the price doubles for a few weeks. 6 months later, you can get a slabbed 9.8 for $50 shipped. Rinse. Repeat.

Depends on the store plan you are on.

What a deal!

Moderns that are heating up on ebay!

Absolutely. He is also a TCM insider. Go figure. -

I was told it would have no effect on the book. Correct. Just the regular thickness books had it. They better step up their game with the new cases voldy has out now.

I was just assured by a trusted source at CGC that it's just the inner well. Never noticed it before.
-
I think I discovered how CGC eliminated/greatly reduced Newton rings. I just got 55 books back and on the back, about 30 of them have this "footprint" and its mostly the thinner books.
-
I only have a few metal covers. It's on the plastic but hard to tell if it's the inner well or inside of the case.
-
Maybe it's just a bad batch of plastic. About half of them have it but this was the worst.

As I am scanning them all, the scratches and marks come out very clear. They don't really present visually as you are looking at the slab unless you look hard. I wonder if that has something to do with eliminating the NRs. Regardless, I'l take the fix but it is more work to edit the scans.

47 books back out of 55(tomorrow) and no trace of NR's. Some blemishes and scratches but not too bad.

Same thing with TLJ. Everyone supporting that mess would say, "How could a movie that made over 1B be a failure in anyone's eyes?" Simply because if they were better movies, either one could have hit or come close to 2B.
