  1. I agree, # 8 should be her first appearance. I suspect that CGC just overlooked that one. Looked through X-Force #8 and Domino is all through out the book. So, Domino's 1st appearance is: New Mutants 98 X-Force 11 and now X-Force 8 Marvel.com has her 1st appearance listed as X-Force #8 so... back to searching the dollar bins "Domino" is on the cover to #8, just like NM#98. However, looks to be a Strange Tales #114 type of issue, exepct carried forward over several issues. http://marvel.wikia.com/X-Force_Vol_1_11 "Domino is studying up on her teammates when Deadpool makes his appearance. He knocks Domino around and continues to call her Vanessa. He reveals that she has been working as a mole for Tolliver and has been giving him trade secrets on the team but has stopped recently. They continue to fight and Deadpool threatens that she must start giving Tolliver what he wants or Tolliver will come after her. He then reveals that she is not really Domino and has just taken her persona....Tolliver enters the depths of his secret castle. He walks with Pico and enters a room where he is keeping a prisoner. He states that she has been there for more than a year and has not adjusted to their hospitality. The prisoner is revealed to be none other than the real Domino." Thus, #11 is the 1st appearance of the 'real' Domino, as the CGC label states. New Mutants #98 and all of the pre-#11 X-Force books are Copycat, impersonating Domino.
  2. Yeah, I apologize. There is no way I can take that list seriously. Not sure what the list is for. Overall populatiry? Then I might disagree with a few. Harley, maybe for the cosplayers, but not overall. You have to add Iron Man and Captain America to the list. I think kids think Deadpool is cool, but if you asked 1,000,000 of them to name their Top 5 favorite superhero characters, I'd be surprised if Deadpool shows up on 10 lists. Batman Spider-man Wolverine Hulk Iron Man Captain America One of my boy's favorites, but he'd list off the above characters before getting to Deadpool...and Superman isn't on the radar. Heck, after GOTG, Starlord, Rocket Racoon and Groot are more popular with him than Superman.
  3. One of my 7-year old's favorite comic characters. Kids like him. He aint going anywhere haters...
  4. Glad someone is seeing Shipped/Safe. Even if their invoice was received after mine. #FIFO! #LIFO?

Just watched the pilot…horrible. Made it through the first 30 minutes then cut it off. Talk about over-acting! Pass.
  7. I like seeing Greggy's books, but you id'jits quoting every single book are annoying!
  8. Ok, so now that the movie has been announced, what does everyone think a CGC 9.8 and 9.6 will be going for 6 months from now??
  9. I've been collecting pics of all of the boardies' Heshka funny book commissions on my Flickr page for a while now. Here's a summation of what I've been able to collect so far. If you have a commission that isn't included below, please let me know. I'd love to have a pic of your artwork to add it to the list. (thumbs u All pics are clickable for larger images…
  10. I love the rogues gallery on the building top. What a great idea. (thumbs u
  11. Pics of the other two? Here they are… Wow, very cool! Those colors are outstanding! Any interest in sharing the boardie's name (i.e. his call-sign or whatever since you gave his real name)? Maybe via PM? Would love something to commission one or two things myself. Absolutely! His name is Ryan Heshka, goes by RyanH on the boards. Check out this thread. Got Heshka? thread And you can check out a lot of his funny book pieces here…
  12. Not exactly a funny book, but I thought it would be a good one to share with this crowd. This is my 3rd painting commission from Ryan Heshka, a fellow boardie. I had him tweak this one a little bit from the original...As usual, he hit it out of the park again…
  13. Ryan doesn't do a lot of SA, but I was able to get him to do this one for me. It'll be framed and go next to my other two as soon as it arrives in Texas. As usual, he hit it out of the park again…
  14. Except War Machine, Ant Man, Venom, and even Cable all appeared in costume 2nd and those are the money books right? Not true for Ant-Man. For some reason, TTA#27 is erroneously listed as the first appearance of Ant-Man even though it's Hank Pym in street clothes. He becomes Ant-Man in TTA#35 and it's listed as Ant-Man's 2nd appearance... Shouldn't Avengers #59 be the 2nd appearance of Yellowjacket then? Yet the cover of TTA #35 says "The Return of the Ant-Man", if he's "returning" he'd have to been there once before right? not this argument again...forget I said anything... It's not an argument. The market has settled the issue. Actually, it IS an argument. Just like Hulk 180 vs 181 is an argument. Just like FF 67 and Thor 165 vs MP1 is an argument. Jimmy Olsen and Forever People 1....just because TTA 27 is the more expensive book doesn't erase the fact that it's arguable. Just for the record, JO 134 is a rarer book than FP 1, but it barely, and I mean by the skin of its teeth, qualifies as even a cameo. One of the weakest cameos in the history of comics......period. Darkseid is Kirby's baby, not Neal Adams'. Couldn't agree more…
