I read that one time these 353 Japanese fighter planes swooped into an American property in Honolulu Hawaii and blew up a bunch of our equipment and shot a bunch of people, but that the President called for the complete evacuation of Hawaii back to the mainland. Good thing we didn't have any ideas of standing up to them, cuz they were really mean people. Years later the Japanese allowed some of our more famous surfers to come back over and use their waves so I guess there was a happy ending.

Yes. They're all alive and unhurt, the loss was minimal, compared to life, limb, breakage and fire, and none of them went to jail and will not have to spend tens of thousands of dollars on legal counsel because of being arrested and charged for defending themselves and/or the store. They got off light compared to how heavy a lift, during and after, it could have been. Blessings should always be counted when you lose something, sometimes alot, but don't lose yourself, friends, or family in the process. This is the kind of thinking that makes me wretch
