Finished the first draft of gav's story "boozes bollocks have seen better days", there are a few cameos of some familiar names/faces in a pub scene. i just noticed that my cover to batman #60 actually is kind of -erotic. batman and robin are pole dancing for some firemen. a pre-cursor to the village people? and i read every new post today after i got home. i think the whole stuff of legend team will be in baltimore, so just sayin about cretive team+witnesses=ss? met mike raicht (or however you spell his last name) in baltimore last year, nice guy, we share the same hometown and it is cool knowing that someone with some talent made it out of the city (since zappa that is). uhhh...anything else? hmm. no, still don't have the money for any of the chew 9.9 books so it wasn't me sniping you jeff. if i can't afford the chew books, i really can't afford an iphone, the "free" wi-fi at work is for company pc's only, so my psp is workblocked again.

just bc you posted this I went ahead and check at the LCS I hit for new books now (plug time: zeus comics in Dallas... AWESOME store if you are ever in town) and they actualy had a copy of WD 50 2nd print for 3.25 in the back issue bins... mine now (thumbs u hell yeah. dope cover too. i've had fun checking all my local stores to see what they've got. I was suprised. They had issues all the way back to the teens for $5 ea. Really good shape too. And every book in the store is in a Mylite with a full back. yeah, i started looking for doubles and found issues back as far as #24 in one store for cover. got #10-14 in another store for $3.50 a piece. i found my first copy of the variant cover for $6.99 (when it came out). now if i can just find another store with a copy while not charging $40 i'll be happy. you should check out my copy of the variant....it's a 9.8 ss sketched by larsen

i got copies of 7 & 33 (?) 2nd prints for a buck along with that agents issue with the wd preview ($1.50) can't complain. and considering i have no money at this time because of bcc, it fit into my budget. queue lebowski response in 3 2 1 ....

this is how my day went... got up 10 minutes late because i haven't been sleeping well. got to work and found out that all of our internet accesses have been cut and we will be watched and will have to account for ALL time during the day. every minute from 8am to 4pm i will have to let management know where i am or where i plan on going. all 50+ of us are extremely pissed about that. a bit heavy handed in my opinion and treating us like children as well (a day after we were given a "great job" party to celebrate us performing far above expectations. then i get home... found out this morning our pets have fleas, we now have to wash everything tonight. i check my mail, a story i subbed to a publisher, the file was corrupted, will not format correctly. there goes 3 weeks of waiting to just have to go through the waiting process...again. still no call from the place i interviewed at tuesday. and on top of that, my back is killing me. and i'm waiting for the backlash against me for my protesting the new management directive (hint: for office communicator my location is in binary for hell, and my status is: yes i am 33 years old but i need a babysitter) oh what will tomorrow bring?

well bright side is, completed 2 more stories, bad news, they took the interwebz away from everyone
