  1. Journey Into Mystery #83, 1st appearance of Thor, can use a doubling of points. X-Men #1 and X-Men #4 can use a doubling of points.
  2. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 is a very popular book. The points are woefully low, probably a 4X boost is needed. Tales of Suspense 39, 1st Iron Man, could use a doubling of points, at least. Strange Adventures #205, 1st Deadman, hot issue. It could use a 4X bump in points.
  3. This fix would be a personal favor. Blackhawk 133, 1st appearance of the Lady Blackhawk. The book is hard to find and prices have escalated. A 3.0 sold for 285.00 . A 4.5 sold for 490.00. I bought a 6.5 and paid 750.00 , I got 23 Registry points ???? This must be a mistake. Book needs a 30X bump. Crazy !
  4. House of Secrets #92, 1st appearance of the Swamp Thing. Book is on fire. Points should double. Hulk 1, 1st appearance of the Hulk. Points need to triple, not exaggerating. Amazing Spider-Man #1 (1963). Again, the points need to triple.
  5. Tales to Astonish #44, 1st appearance of the Wasp, can probably use a 4X point boost. Fantastic Four 48, 1st appearance of the Silver Surfer, is on fire. The point should double, at least. Fantastic Four 52, 1st appearance of the Black Panther. Movie coming, very desirable book. Again, the points should at least double, probably triple. So many books I want to list but I do not want to bombard you all at once. Thanks.
  6. I had a few in the list and the scores look good, much better. Good job !!!
  7. I agree, which is why I wish CGC would do it. A simple checkmark on the label, like the competition already does. Sometimes CGC can be so stubborn.
  8. I concur that the rust spot was from the book underneath in the stack, it will not spread. However, I have found that 'usually' the book itself will have some rust on the staples. It makes no sense if a stack of books were stored in a high humidity area, one book would be free of rust and the one immediately underneath would have rust. It may have rust on the centerfold, it may have rust underneath the staple, but I bet it has rust. Also, this copy looks pretty fried on the Back cover. Look at all the dark along the spine. Not a book I would buy. Sorry.
  9. Maybe it was the result of a poorly executed spine realignment ?
  10. Awesome eye appeal on both books. I wonder what the deal is with stickers on the centerfold. Is the bottom staple detached ? That would explain why it's only a 4.0. Looks much higher.
  11. Guys, CVA is simply adding something that CGC chooses not to give us, a 'checkmark' for eye appeal. The competition uses this checkmark and, to be honest, I like the idea. It also works well with books on CLink that never show the Back Cover. Without seeing the Back Cover the CVA sticker tells me there is nothing fugly on the Back cover. I agree, however, that it does not add financial value. I would also not pay for the service but as long as it's on the book, I will utilize it. What's the big deal ? Don't understand the hate.
  12. A very undervalued book and extremely tough to find in high grade. Nice copy !
  13. I thought this was one of Greggy's better batches !
