Aw Yeah Comics in Skokie, IL is hosting a 3rd anniversary event next Saturday featuring Mignola and Geof Darrow. I'm going to try to make it. Anyone else here going?

TFAW had some of the Mignola sketch variants but sold out a week ago. I picked up 10 at $25 a pop and sent them in to be pressed and slabbed.

There will probably be more to the last page.

At least for now, the IDW Limited variants of Alpha 1 & 2 can only be obtained by purchasing a copy of their limited edition Head Games (red, blue, or black label), assuming the offer (which was announced via Twitter and had an end date of 1/31) still stands.

These images would make fantastic prints, but they're the IDW Limited variant covers for Alpha 1 and 2. A highly motivated and persistent boardie got me copies before they go on sale. Apparently, IDW Ltd. hasn't decided yet when or how they'll offer these, but I expect you'll see them on the website before too long.

Did anyone order the box set thingy with all 7(?) covers? Are there any pictures of it yet? Also does anyone buy the hardcovers? I just noticed you can buy the 6th volume with a slipcase to fit all of them in

Hey all, now that Locke and Key is starting to end, I wanted to finish up my collection but have been unable to find a good checklist.

 

Does anyone have a good full checklist? Google shows one here from user NewEnglandGothic but it stops at the beginning to Keys to the Kingdom

Yesterday, it was down to 7 1/2. Still a ways to go.

According to TFAW, the release date for Alpha #2 has been pushed back to November 13.

Somebody has to pay a price.

Alpha #1 was pretty solid. Real curious what will happen with #2.

 

I would have loved to hear what people thought the "last" key would be (before they revealed it). I thought he'd make sunlight so he could get past all the shadow creates. WRONG

I would have nailed it. I thought it was obvious for a long time Tyler's fishing lore would be made into a key, and it just made sense it would be similar to the head key and work on people because Tyler isn't a locksmith to make a physical lock.

 

Having it remove the "demon monster" was my theory for awhile now; however, I didn't expect the person to die from the process.

 

I still think Bode has a chance to get back in his body too. Since they didn't use Tylers new key on Dodge/Bode there is no metal in his body. Maybe ghost Bode will tell Rufus to throw his body through the ghost key door in the final issue??
