  1. Man,woman,them,whatever-not a dig at Roys prices,at all,he keeps his ear to the concrete-but the prices I'm seeing these days--I'm scared to look at me comics, especially the copper keys I hoarded in the heydaze of 89-92.I might even release some one day.If Rock would press 'em for me,I'd even consider...slabbbing! :whatthe:

(precode fans, put your pants on,those are coming to the grave)((maybe get myself taxidermed and put in the Crypt of Quills))

    Volstagg Vs The Blob

    Who wins?

Volstagg I think.Blob has rage issues, might mess up-but Volstagg's pretty lackadaisy....no,Volstagg,he's Asgardian. He did knock the heck out of that Thor clone Ragnarok in Siege...

We stopped in at a Mcd's when we were on a trip, and they had a special on 20 piece mcnuggets.  My wife and I figured we'd split it and give the rest to the dog.  We all got sick, including the dog.

Poor Jiggy :frown: You need some ruffage

I'll keep an eye out for another one.  Thought you had picked it up already.  MCS has new ones, but can probably be found elsewhere.

I don't, but the Daredevil and Captain America runs by Ed Brubaker are worth their weight in gold. Keep an eye out

I've most of those Daredevils-even a lot of the DD floppies.Brubaker helped me fall back in love with Marvel again, starting with the Marvels Project.Word of mouth helped me along to the Cap and DD and now anything by him or Bendis I'll grab if I can find it used.

    you want some trades Jimmers?

Hey Pat! Just trying to catch up on the Marvel universe since I left in about 93. There's been some stuff that's caught my eye-sometimes the local Dollarama gets in three, four dollar trades so I pick them up-there's defo some stuff I like better than others. As a big Cap fan growing up,I'm still trying to figure where that weird holo shield came from-who has the adamantium vibranium one?Super Soldier rules!Eff Tony Stark!Penance is amazing!

I dive in wherever the fates take me.

If you have that Sgt Fury and the Creature Commandos, hit me up her or fb. @steveinthecity made me aware of it and I just can't find it

I enjoyed Hickman's entire time on the book, and the FF series that followed. I liked that Franklin's character was further developed, just find it strange that he becomes so powerful, immortal, and all that.  Wonder what kind of super-kids Valeria will give birth to down the line?

I'm still a bit overwhelmed and behind, kind of lost.As I've mentioned before, much of my modern reading is the will of the fates, what trades I stumble on cheap.

So,would you recommend post Civil War era X-Factor with Jamie or the FF for me.I take your opinion to heart and trust you ken what I enjoy?I've a bit of both, quite enjoy both for different reasons but only have so much mad money.

  8. Okay,I'll read some comics.Anyone else read rhe FF forever arc,600 to 604 or 605?I got a trade dirt cheap and I sort of loved it.A bit of gaps, like I missed a cross issue, and time travel stuff is usually a big bummer to me,but Galactus fighting the Celestials?Cosmic cooooool!

The ish devoted to Franklin creating that pocket universe was really fun too, very whimsical.
