  1. :frustrated:

I have not had much luck with any of my pre-orders except for the one's from Third Eye... I am worried about my midtown as this is my first order and it has not arrived quite yet. I wish you could pre-order con variants from Larry or Third Eye as those seem to be the only people who know how to pack?!? I take pride when I pack the books I sell, most people seem like they are *spooning* off when they pack.

Anyone know what Joeypost's (I think that is how his name is spelled?) cost is per book? (worship)

If you ever get a chance check out Comickaze Comics. I was blown away with the difference in packaging styles between them and the other shops I've ordered from.

  2. It will eventually find its way home to join its sister cover...

Seeing the Walking Dead #48 cover framed made me realize I need both parts.

Speaking of needing both parts, care to give me the cover you have to #5? :baiting:
    Touché.

where do you buy orginal cover or pages

  3. i wish they'd take comic book men off the air. it really sucks and interrupts the flow of WD Night

Hopefully this show won't make it another season, its been nothing but a disappointment from the beginning.Guess I had a different idea in mind when it first started.

Anyway back to WD, loved this episode can't wait till the governor and Rick meet, and see how the two convicts coexist with the other members of the group.

  4. >>Since the Phantom Revival Variants are going to cover issue #1 - #12 will #1 be treated as a "5th Print" as the book is 4 months old<<

IF such a thing did exist, What if they were ALREADY printed? Say for some BIG event or something?

I only think in terms of desirability and long term sustainability. For me personally, I would want variants of Revival #1, and Bedlam #1. But, to pick a random one, do I really want a variant of Revival #9? Unless its a character first, or death, it almost seems like it becomes like IDW/Boom, printing a million covers of the same book.

    Just some thoughts.

    Agree +1

I'd like to see variants only when a issue calls for it like the examples you stated.Or spread them out to one every ten or twenty issues, for me it would make the variant more desireable. When I'm ordering new,or looking for back issues to buy I dislike it when there is multiple variants, gets to be overkill and I loose interest quick.

  5. Just got my grades for the 2 Sketch RRPs I picked up and subbed at NYCC, 9.8 on both.

Dropped off a bunch of color Nycc blue label subs at the CGC booth this weekend in Austin.

  6. I just don't understand why people think this is just another "hype" book, I'm thinking even if every boardie from the Modern section has 30 copies of #1, it won't be enough to cover the 18k print run, it sold out because it was good, deal with it.

After reading everything about this comic here on the boards I decided to give it a read.Gotta admit I'm hooked and can't wait for the next issue.

  7. How bizarre. My LCS sold out of Revival #2 before the close of business Wednesday... but there are still 2 copies of Revival #1 sitting right on the shelf. The owner ordered the same amount on both.

wish I my LSC had a copy of #1 or 2, haven't had any luck finding one at cover price. Looks like I'll have to get them on ebay or maybe get lucky and find someone one the boards with some extra copies.
