Will a misplaced staple on a comic effect grading?

It's now been posted after I sent a number of messages.

My submission status shows as 'Shipped' since 20th Oct. When I check the FedEx tracking code, it shows as 'Label Created' and they have not received the package. How long is it before the package is actually sent? (Submission #4337698).

Result in …. 8.5 … the finger print was the killer. But happy with the result. Thank you all who replied. 

@zzutak, ha yea, luckily it wasn't a $600 comic ... there were only 600 of the comic printed  (is what I meant).

As a total n00b to comic collecting, I was curious as to the mistakes you've made in the early days and lessons learnt the hard way? ... for example, I received a variant today in the post (only 600) and dropped it, now with a crumpled edge, that wont happen again!!. Also, I bought modern bags and board, and realised I actually hate them, way too tight and much prefer bronze age bags n boards (more wiggle room), so basically wasted money.

Any other stories you want to share? or things for me to look out for?

I'm super new to collecting. These forums has been a valuable asset/resource for most questions I've had, so thank you all who contribute. I picked up Star Wars #1 recently and want to get it graded/slabbed to preserve it (for my own collection, not flipping it). I think it will absolutely benefit from having a clean n press. but any comments/grading suggestions are greatly appreciated. 

There are some spine ticks mostly not broken, exect by the bottom staple. Very slight crease top and right corners. The back has some colour rub by the spine, and a thumb-mark top left. Inside pages are all in good condition, 

(since posting the images, I've noticed thumb prints on the cover ... probably my n00b sweaty hands, I've updated the photos)
