Coverdeath

I wanted to improve it to my eyes and my eyes only, I always knew that it will look worse for everyone else, but for me it was better. At the time I did it I never planned to sell the book and now that I'm selling it people tell me that it's a technique to improve the book...

So all the forum is now putting the target on me because I cutted the top corner of the cover myself, what in the hell is different that if it was fall by itself or anything else...? I think that some have me on their black list. How it count for the people who already replied to my thread? @JollyComics @vheflin @Grendelbo @scburdet

This is just a non sense to me... there is just no world where i tought to have to specify how the corner of a book have disappeared, it's not like if had added some material to the book... its literally the contrary and it would be just considered as a supplementary deffect for 99% of the population... but I guess the comics book collector are made different.

I was thinking to send it to MCS, i know they are rude in grading. So make it me feared a bit. But I m really a bad grader, I tought it stay nothing of my book but in definitive 1.8 would be nice.

Well you just have to rip it of an inch more with your fingers and it wouldn't be restored anymore

So you r gonna tell me the fact that a little kid cut the corners of his book because he like relief is considered as restoration? This is an absolute non sense. For me you get the label because of the tape.

I mean I think when we talk about "trimmed book" it have to directly affect the size of the page or the cover, what is not the case here. But I could be wrong.

Well usually when I see it, it's a full length pach which have the edge cutted, but here is different is the corner, when I see some similar books to mine on ebay is rather listed as "missing piece" "missing corner" but not trimmed.

I pictured the cover and the book apart to see better. The spine split is probably 1/3 of the length or even a bit more... Corners cutted from page 9 to 18 but it's not affect panels or text so I guess it change nothing.

Sorry I was not really sure of the term of "trimmed" because I often see the term used in restoration process.

I have no friends in real life and I'm certainly not here to get some "online friends" i dont trust in this kind of relationship, I m just here to talk about a subject who make me happy. Again, as I said many times I was not questioning the legitimacy of this seller.

I'm not really sure to understand what so you mean but I guess it's a personal attack on me. You have to know that I already asked many questions to this sellers on other items and we always had a good communication so there was absolutely no "signal" or something... more of that my ebay account is 100% positive!

Yes I knew sometimes prices are going weird with coverless... and I already passed on great Silver keys several times, these books are not so rare so I don't really understand how the prices can be on fire like they are, I'm much more focused on GA since I collect coverless, just give me the feeling to have more for my money. I know Qualitycomix are a great comic seller and I will not avoid to buy to them a next time but I just was a bit deceived by the communication on it.
