That's a really cool book. Putting a valuation on a book like this is very difficult and you probably are best served by putting it up for auction. Let us know if you decide to have an auction as I would definitely like to bid !

Thanks! I will post when I put it up for Auction. Not sure who to go with, CL or Heritage. Used CL a few times, never had any problems.

I think copies of this particular book with the NDS insert (pre-Mark Jewelers) are far more rare than copies with double covers.

:) I really think that is very unlikely.

I've only seen two of the former, ever. And at least a dozen copies of the latter in the last 18 months or so alone. (shrug)

Should be NDS, not Mark Jewelers, dunno if its worth the trouble of sending it back in to get it fixed. I've yet to see another one. Anyone else seen one?

  3. Bag of Green Army Men

    Couple packs of firecrackers

    Can of WD-40

    One lighter

    Let the good times roll.

Unfortunately this is what i did to most all of my toys. Joes, turtles, He-man, even my thundercats. I specifically remember using superglue to make my turtles bodies water tight, filling them up with gasoline, lighting a small fire behind them and blasting them with a BB gun. This eventually evolved into doing the same thing with aerosol cans.

Pro tip: When you see a can of barbesol rocketing off into the woods spewing flaming foam, just go ahead and call the fire department right then.

I can almost taste the toxicity of all that burnt plastic. Yum!

If only it had nine covers, then it would say Nonuple Cover, which would be the first time most any of us would have ever seen the word Nonuple.

And in case you're still wondering:

    10 Decuple

    11 Hendecuple/Undecuple

    12 Duodecuple

    13 Tredecuple

    14 Quattuordecuple

    15 Quindecuple

    16 Sexdecuple

    17 Septendecuple

    18 Octodecuple

    19 Novemdecuple

    20 Viguple

    I thought 16 was a bit interesting.....
