Flashback to the summer of 1968...Buying my Topps wax packs, flipping, trading and sticking cards on rear bike stays for that motorcycle sound! And of course as any 12 year-old would do as not to get his cards mixed up with someone else's - why not inscribe your initials on them...in ink!  Question for the board - these worth anything?  Thanks

Make sure you send certified or registered my guy, at least you'll have a peace of mind that it was signed for when received.

I handed off at a trade show, I didn't send registered. Which is better, registered or show rep?

Because my stuff is still unaccounted for- somewhere in the warehouse.

I think it's hard to say what's best at this point. So many varieties of issues being mentioned.

  3. I agree that many of us feel our cards are somewhat held hostage. As long as they are returned in the same condition they were sent, and graded, I'm willing to wait a bit longer than expected.

But having a discussion about them being lost, is not even an option. Yes I declared a value, but why would we think they are lost. Your Warehouse has security and camera systems, I certainly hope, that would prevent theft. If theft is not the reason, then step 2 should be grade everything as it comes in, before early submissions remain in limbo. I envision a huge pile stacked on top of my March submission. (Cringe)

It seems the priority cards are moving ahead of bulk. Well, the system got flooded with low cost submissions. Not our fault really. Moving the prices up may slow the flow of new submissions, but it seems the warehouse should be divided into 2 sections. The 1st section is early chaos clutter, from the move, the wrong cases, etc. The 2nd section becomes kind of a mess, but better hopefully than the 1st mess.

  5. I was also told that card show submissions were sent back to the main office via UPS/Fed Ex. I was under the impression that card reps would deliver the cards back after the show.

How can my cards not be accounted for if they are in the warehouse. By now, 3/13 submissions should have surfaced.

So were they mailed back from the show, or hand delivered. Do I get a tracking number if they were mailed? If they were hand delivered, where were they put or scanned into the system.

Please, I need to know where these cards are sooner that later, which has already passed.

  6. Has anyone been told their submission has been lost?

Mine remains in limbo, but I have confidence when the overload is properly managed, they will surface as they should.

Otherwise, Houston, we have a problem.

Sorry, but I'm not comprehending this. Are you saying that you have shipped out (3) orders submitted at the Bulk level of 50 cards or more and that you have had all (3) orders graded and shipped back to you with all cards graded? If so, I'm going to have to ask for some sort of proof as you sir are a unicorn. There is not one person out there that I believe has gotten 3 bulk orders back from CSG yet. I will continue to believe that until someone can show me proof otherwise. This company is not touching bulk orders.

My bulk order was received Feb 26, mere days after they opened up and it is still there now.

I received my 204 card submittion back last week. 11 were unable to be graded due to thickness. I had submitted at a show on 2/26. Was happy to get them back, even with the ungraded ones.

  8. Good morning. I have been to 2 shows and submitted at both locations. The 2nd show was 2 weeks back, and I have yet to see those post as being received. I trust they will appear soon, just a simple follow-up.

Also curious of your next show location

Thank you. I love the cards I received from the 1st show. Looking forward to getting the next few groups soon.
