I got a second printing of #1 and first prints of the rest. It doesn't feel right without a first print of #1 but the prices are for one are getting pretty up there these days. I remember being offered a printer's error version here for just over $100. Should've taken it.

How much would a #1 raw go for these days? I don't even care about condition, to an extent, I'd just like one without breaking the bank.

I suspect he'll have a few available going forward.

For the glow in the dark cover last year, he had a bunch left over. I bought one from him.

Just out of curiosity, if I was looking to a buy a raw #1 within the next couple of months, what would be a reasonable price to spend?

Hey guys, I need some help. I recently decided to start picking up the new issues of Chew after reading the first 3 GNs, and my LCS only had #19 left in stock. I need to find NM copies of #16-18, and wanted to know where the best place to find recent back issues online would be (we have just the one LCS in town). I collect mostly SA except for Walking Dead and now Chew, so I don't do much with new stuff. Of course I'd like to get them as cheaply as possible. Any advice would be great!

 

I'm sure a few members on here would be able to help you out with these back issues. List what you're looking for in the want to buy section of the boards. If that fails, there is always Ebay.

Agreed with the eBay suggestion if you have no luck here.There's normally a lot of back issues on there, all for fairly low prices.

I have 2 first print Chew 1's, I got them both from antique book shops near me (near the same time - few weeks apart), they were both like £3 each.

Wow. I still need to get me one of those but they're getting more and more expensive. Way out of the price range for a graduate student.

I saw the sales threads. Unfortunately, I think I was a little late to the party.

Anyone here get the "glow in the dark" variant?

They're already up on eBay for $30 - $40 each.

I actually threw my hat into the ring for a #1 first print.

Still a lot of time and my bid isn't that high but we'll see.

The 10.0 #1 sold for $1,150!

haven't seen one sell for less than $120 in a while. most in 9.4 and above seem to go for close to $175-$200 right now.
