My point is Joker is more popular than Superman now. Joker is about to beat Superman Man of Steel domestically. You were not involved in it, but for years old timers in this GA gold forum always told me GA Superman #1 would be a way better investment than GA Batman #1 first Joker. I argued once Joker got a movie or two we will see. Right now Joker is hotter commodity than Superman.

I love Superman with Chris Reeves. That don't mean nothing. The new generation likes Joker. Even Batman look silly to them. A man who is in a stupid costume. Joker seems cooler now.
The next Batman movie will bomb. He dresses up as a bat. dumb. Joker I can relate to.
ps. I love Spider-Man.
He will always be cooler than Bat-Man.

Oscar performance by Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker. It lives up to the hype.

Will Smith was fine. Deadshot was the only character who got any sort of development.

I called Joker early, just like I am calling Birds of Prey at least 600 million plus worldwide. I think China won't ban it like Joker and Deadpool.

Certainly in relation to its budget, but the R rating hurts an makes an aquaman/WW gross impossible.  Unlike deadpool where parents (me) took a child figuring it was not a "strong" R, I am no prude, but I would not take my 8 year old to this and I let him watch deadpool 2.

Margot Robbie looks the part and can act (i, Tonya) but they need to tweak the rendition. 

China 2013 box-office is a very different animal to China 2019 box-office, but Suicide Squad didn't play China either and still made almost $750 mil worldwide. With nearly $550 mil worldwide after two weeks, I'm sure Joker will continue to do quite well.

Most likely won't, as Deadpool didn't open there. The Joker seems even more controversial than Deadpool. A shame because if Joker opened in China we are easily looking at Joker doing 1 billion box office.

if Venom and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse were big hits?
